Should You Fight Stress?
Unfortunately, most of us are living life without any understanding of things happening to us. The normal tendency is when we get a disease we start fighting with it. We get stress and we start fighting with it. This is due to ignorance. It does not mean that one should not attend to the emergency situation or let the acute pain go on without attending to it. One should do whatever they can to alleviate any suffering be it through a temporary bandage or a more permanent fix at the root.

The role of disease is to remind us about our duty to keep ourselves healthy. The role of stress is to remind you to make positive changes. Suffering is a messenger. Don’t try to argue with the messenger. As they said, don’t shoot the messenger. Focus on the message. Fighting with our disease is like trying to kill a shadow. We cannot win against a shadow.
The role of disease is to remind you about your duty to keep yourself healthy
As we know, usually, the roots of stress, suffering and disease are at the emotional, mental and spiritual level. Instead of looking within, people put all their focus outward - on finding the right medicines, supplements, doctors, hospitals, remedies and so on without paying any attention to the inner negativity, separation, pride, ignorance, and other such feelings harboring within them. Just like when driving, if you hear a screeching sound do you try to pay attention and find out from where the sound is coming or do you turn on the radio? Do you try to fight the sound or THANK the sound for alerting you about an underlying issue?
